RedMas Surpasses 100 Million Users in Latin America Positioning It among the Region’s Leading Ad Networks

MIAMI, Florida (April 28, 2014) – RedMas, an online advertising network serving the Latin American and the U.S. Hispanic markets and a Cisneros Interactive company, reached 103.8 million users in March of this year, according to figures from Navegg, an audience management platform.

 

On the other hand, according to statistics from comScore for February 2014 in the category “Display Ad Ecosystem”, RedMas was positioned as the second largest digital advertising network in Argentina, behind only Google, with 7.8 million unique visitors and a reach of 43.2%.  While in Mexico, it registered 10.5 million unique visitors with a reach of 36%, and ranked as the country’s third advertising network.

 

“The Navegg and comScore statistics, in addition to demonstrating RedMas’ growth in the region, it positions us as one of the leading advertising networks in Latin America, second only to Google.  The fact of having qualitative information about the users who visit our network sites, enables us to offer brands and advertisers ultra-segmented campaigns based on the primary interests of our users,” emphasized German Herebia, CEO of RedMas.

 The Navegg report revealed the areas of interest of users who accessed the more than 20,000 sites integrated in RedMas’ network.  With 23.9%, ‘Business’ was a major interest among visitors, followed by ‘Entertainment’ with 22.6%, ‘online Marketing’ with 21.1%, ‘Marketing’ with 14%, ‘News’ with 13.1%, and ‘Technology’ with 9.26%.  In addition, the report revealed that Mexico was the county that hosted the most visitors for RedMas, with 14.6%, followed by Brazil with 12.4%, and then Spain with 8.8%, Argentina with 8.1%, and Colombia with 7.9%.

With regard to the products that generated the greatest interest among the users, they include: technological items, family products, electronics, home and construction materials, beauty and fashion, products for babies and children, smartphones, DVDs, foods and drinks.

 The report also indicates that 81.8% of RedMas users accessed the network from a PC or notebook, while 11.4% logged on from a mobile device, and 5.6% from a tablet.  In terms of browsers, 48.2% navigated the Internet using Google Chrome, 13.3% with Firefox, 13.1% with Internet Explorer, and 10.7 with Safari.

 RedMas provides brands with digital advertising solutions is such formats as In-text, In-Image and related tags, as well as the traditional formats of display banners and video ads.  Currently, the network boasts 20,000 affiliated publishers and reaches an online and mobile audience of more than 103 million unique users in the region.  RedMas also represents such properties as Yahoo!, eHowenespanol, and PERFORM in several Latin American countries.

 In the last quarter of 2013, RedMas launched ‘Audience,’ a technological platform that provides advertisers and media buyers a centralized sales center to purchase advertising space on related sites through a real-time auction price model allowing brands to target users who match the segmentation criteria of their campaigns.
